war thunder is better imo, it gets really grindy after tier 2 but it's still bretty gud

I'm going to say WoT just to keep you away from WT, the ground forces beta was so nice, everybody fought with teeth and claws for victory which made defeats fair. But then the WoT faggots arrived and camped away like they were in the other game and then not enough of them left when they found out that there's no faggot health bar on their tanks, so the mouthbreather population kept steadily increasing.

War Thunder
It's not AS pay2win, the premium tanks are usually balanced with some exceptions (inb4 Ru251 and IS-6)
The same cannot be said for WoWT

I like War Thunder, but that's just so I can fly some comfy planes whenever I eventually ragequit with tanks and their bullshit

Both are grindy as fuck but war thunder is more grindy in the upper most tier. The good thing about War thunder is there's no grind tree you can grind the tanks you want any tier below the current tier.
If you want Arcady as fuck tanks with fast matches and gameplay with pseudo armor pens and lifebars then WoT
If you want long large tank battles with sometimes large maps with added realism like slug ballistics, wonky armor penetrations, bounces, complicated armor thickness calculations, Actual aiming and combined ground and air battles go with war thunder

War Thunder is more realistic (for a given definition of realism) and overall better than WoT on a good day.
Right now however no one is playing WT tanks because it's completely fucked balance wise.

Played both a while, still play WT occasionally because healthbars on tanks is an unforgivable offense and WoT just upsets me because of that
