- SSB Goku confirmed playable, listed as an all-rounder with tools to cover any situation, but is very fast and difficult for beginners to control. His meteor attack is the Kaioken x 10 Kamehameha.
- SSB Vegeta confirmed, a powerful offensive character with devastating strikes. His meteor attack is Final Flash Attack.
- #18 also confirmed, with #17 spotlighted as an assist character in her moveset, including her meteor attack, Accel Dance.
- #16 confirmed, a strong but slow grappler type with Hell Flash as a meteor attack. Self Destruct is also hinted to be a super
- #16 is also featured in the story mode of DBFZ, in which he is rebuilt and stages an assault on the Z fighters, alongside mysterious copies of Goku and co.
- 6 player 3v3 party matches will be implemented, allowing players to team up for tag-team fights
- Official website urls also confirm another Gohan and Buu, Ultimate and Kid most likely
- A new gameplay trailer will be shown after the Gamescom tourney on Friday
