Nah man, it's a perfectly self contained organism, it could just use another Ringed City/Ashes of Ariandel sized expansion to sand any rough edges. Something to address the games structuring, lack of early weapon variety (addressed slightly with TOH), and maybe focus in on some mechanical improvements. It's so close to being perfect, a sequel could only take away from BB if DS2 is any indicator.

I love the wheel in concept and is probably my favourite idea for a weapon in this game, I mean, you are just smacking people with a big (and sometimes spooky) wheel, but I prefer the kirkhammer, it does more damage in the same damage type (outside of arcane I guess) for less stamina per hit, I don't see any real reason to use the wheel in PvE over the kirkhammer unless I'm just playing the game wrong.

I mean, I doubt you are really losing out that much by using the wheel over the kirkhammer in PvE, but it just grills my autism levels to know I'm using something so awkwardly.

Without even looking stuff up I ran a DEX build and had no major issues with any bosses except heavy hitters. Unless you're severely underleveled you should always have enough stamina to get out of a tight spot and try another approach.

The only bosses I really found annoying were Amygdala and Logarius because of camera fuckery.

The great one fights barring Amygdala and Orphan of Kos were all pretty disappointing moveset wise. Ebrietas and MP just kinda flail around, Mergo might as well been just a stronger normal enemy like the Shark Whales, and Rom barely even does anything besides more flailing and generic AoE explosions.

I'm stuck at the Blood Starved Beast. How do I git gud? I've played the whole souls series but this is just a whole different beast. I want to appreciate the lore of the world in Bloodborne but I can't get past the gameplay. I don't normally rage at games but every time I play against the Beast (I've been stuck playing rarely for the past 8 months now) I just get so infuriated. Mostly because it's his grapple that gets me every time. I'll get him down to low health only for him to grapple and instakill me.

I think the boomhammer is neat too, but I could never get it to do that much damage and it always felt a little puny to me, but maybe I was just spoiled by the beefiness of the kirkhammer.

Obviously killed the 2 Winter Lanterns for that cheese. Dropped down because the first one doesn't patrol otherwise. Lured him to the edge and just used the saw spear charge. 2nd one then drops down. Hit one of them with a shaman bone blade. And then just cheese from there.

The camera fights against you, its hard to see what hes doing, he moves very fast, he lags the game, he spams this aoe that does massive damage, its hard to hit his legs. Fuck Loran Darkbeast.
It isn't just that it's hard but how unfun it is to fight.
I waited till NG+ to do the DLC and was under-leveled so Ludwig was kicking my ass but I didn't mind because I was having so much fun, even after dying the 20th time. With Loran Darkbeast I was furious after only the 3rd death against it and I never normally get angry playing vidya.
He'd attack straight after dodging out of view so to avoid it I'd have to dodge into where I thought he was but half the time I'd end up dodging right into that aoe.

I wanna play this game again but I feel like I need an excuse...
