I think most people would. I love it, but wish it had at least one more new stage. With just four, one of which is the final zone, it's a bit weak in that regard. But maybe it's weird for me to think the final zone doesn't "count" in a sense.

Press Garden Act 1 was baffingly bad and I have a feeling with Whiteheads fetishising CD,
that's the kind of shit we'd get a LOT of without the throwback levels

The more time I spend in Titanic Monarch the less I like this game.

Mania is way too meta. Like it's designed for people who played the Genesis games a lot. Look at the bosses--how many are robots that move back and forth that you hit 8 times to beat? None, they're all gimmick bosses.

You know how modern Disney movies are built on subverting expectations of older movies and wouldn't work if you hadn't seen a lot of the older movies first? Mania is doing the same thing.

Btw Mania is the most fun I've had all month, but this isn't a formula they could pull off again methinks.

"remember this" moments are a finite resource, for better or for worse a sequel (that isn't forces) needs to do something new
