Please be honest: is this a good game? Or at the very least fun?

The videos and idea makes me think it's "Camping: the game" where you hold out at a spot just hoping someone walks in your line of fire. Unless the giant circle of death appears and you're outside it. Then you have five seconds to get inside it.

Is it better than that? More importantly, is it worth the price tag?

people WILL camp, it cant be avoided. Campers make for half an hour games. but you usually get more points overall if you try for as many kills as you can. You may die in 15 minutes, but you'll earn just as much as a camper, if not more, in a smaller amount of time.
