I just tested it for you and it seems like all damage is cut 50% both ways. So it can be good for a healer since you can still raise the link level but not for anyone you can expect to deal damage.

She's okay as a healer, but Kobold fills that role better and you get Kobold shortly after Orthrus. All of her other jobs suck really bad.

Oh shit, I found her. This girl looks like she's going to hit like a freight train. And if I find a class leader (that I like) she's going to get that 100% hp boost. Although I don't know how her all attack activates. Do you really have to get down to exactly 7hp, or is it a mistranslation of below 70% or does it mean a multiple of 7?

When Mummy gets hit and is put at an hp where the singles digit is 7 (e.g. 537, 467, 97, etc.), she will automatically attack the entire enemy group. It's a pretty powerful attack too.

Yeah, she's pretty strong. Gets halfway decent level ups too, which is more than you can say about most of the monster girls you get early on. The pseudo-random stat gains are one of the most annoying things about this game.

What did you play Goblin as? I have her as my wizard and she's amazing at it so far. Getting soul drain so early is a godsend because she can attack without spending mana and even get a whole bunch back for free.

She was my mage, but her MAT growth was really pretty damn bad. Her damage falls off hard later on because of her poor stat growth and no access to higher level spells. The mage training buff at least made her okay on bosses though.
