Well now here's a conundrum. Do you play on the platform that treats shooters with the respect they deserve, but "suffer" through the 20 second increased match finder, or play on a console with a controller, and pay to play online?

Personally I'd rather buy DLC to support the devs instead of giving sony money for the privilige of playing the game.

I finished the campaign yesterday and had a lot of fun.

The mech parts are pretty fun, feel suitably mechy and you get to play with a bunch of different configurations.

The platforming stuff feels fresh and fun (wall running, etc). Its not super difficult, but it encourages you to go fast.

The setting is pretty neat. A good chunk of the game takes place in a factory that is building prefab homes. As someone who loves futuristic industry, it was pretty cool. Its not post-apocalypse future which is a nice change.

The story is OK, basic gist is good guys vs bad guys, you discover the super weapon that the bad guys are building, stop them from using it, etc.

Dialog and stuff is a little cheesy, there are a lot of "human makes figure of speech, robot takes it literally" moments. If stuff like that doesn't bother you, its fun.

Campaign took me 6-7 hours on normal. Also, the game runs fucking great maxxed out. No lag or FPS issues anywhere.

I'm only a few hours into the campaign, I know it's short, but I really enjoyed that level. the vibe of that place was amazing... it seemed so expansive and massive.. and the moving parts and platforming were great as well. the part where you have to climb up the vertical prefab platform did make me slightly nauseous though, but it somehow added to the experience in a good way due to the immersion of it.

overall, really good so far as far as fun is concerned.

Who's best girl and best Titan and why is it Northstar?

I can't bring myself to use any Titan but northstar. I've only tried out Ion, Northstar, and Tone so far and I doubt the others will make me not want to play Northstar.

Try ronin
My two fave titans are northstar and ronin. With northstar I can doom a titan in seconds fron across the map. With ronin I can "RULES OF NATURE" and kill pilot after pilot after titan while on next to no health

I started using the epg a few months ago and fell in love. Now I am literally unable to do well with any other gun, even though I used to stomp servers with the memestiff and spitfire. I don't get it.

I hear its also that Respawn wanted that release date, but it's definitely clear the game had little to no marketing. It's surprising that they're able to turn this around though, it's seen a slight rise in player counts on PC compared to other dying games, even though it's not seeing RS6 levels of turnaround.

I used exclusively EPG for months. It is amazing how mad R97/CAR users can get when you keep one-shotting them. Splash damage is also always fun.
