Yea I put like 450 hours combined into 3 and 4, those are basically perfect. I want more like that.
The new Wolfenstein games. Might not have too much of a weapon/skill upgrade system but it has a good amount of everything else.

>Borderlands 2
>F.E.A.R.
>Fallout New Vegas
>Shadow Warrior
>Deus Ex: Human Revolution
>EYE: Divine Cybermancy
>Painkiller Pain & Damnation
And that's all i got, Tho i took some liberties with the "Real Guns" part

metro 2033/LL
singularity
thats all i can think of no one really makes singleplayer fps anymore, its all multiplayer

If you can get past not having real weapons then the Dishonored games.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is a game that got shit reviews but I actually had a lot of fun with. The weapon customization is extremely in depth and unlocking the upgrades through side challenges in the main missions is fairly challenging and a lot of fun.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist is awesome

I'm fine with TPS games too, just looking for any type of shooter. I know though, it sucks because I'm not a huge multiplayer guy.
