Rank them lads
3: 1
2: 2
1: 3
fuck 3d platforming, I'm glad 1 exists because it lead to 2 and 3 but it's the weakest of the series. jak is a good example of a series that figures out what it's doing better as it goes along.
2,3,1

oh yeah, jak x was a thing too. it's between 1 and 2

I love them all a lot, I seriously do, I even went back to jak 2 to get the golden skateboard challenge on the first run since I never did it before. But I'd have to rank them as 1,3,2. 3 just feels like it has more character than 2 and improved upon the new things jak 2 brought to the franchise. 1 is a beautiful treasure that truly feels like an adventure given the fact that it's a seamlessly connected world with no loading screens, and at almost any point in the game, you can look back and see how far you've come, or places you havent been to yet. The endgame view in jak 1 is absolutely breathtaking.

1 is the best collectathon platformer there is
jak 2 is unbalanced as fuck but also fun
jak 3 has the worst driving of any game i've ever played.
2>3>1 is the only sane rating
How come the second game in the trilogy is generally always the best one?
Sly 2
Jak 2
R&C 2

Jak 1
The rest are shit
1>3>>>2
Whenever i think of Jak and Daxter, 1 always pops into my head first. It was colourful, not overly serious, funny at times. Had good exploration as well and just all round very good experience
3 improved over 2 a lot and it is why 3 is next but both 3 and 2 didn't have the same feel 1 had and were pretty bland worlds in terms of art direction for me. 3 is still top tier though for the fact that there was a lot to do but didn't hvae me feeling the same amount of enjoyment i got from 1

all wrong though
R&C 2 was the worst game in all of R&C, not just the original trilogy even

>Lost frontier over anything

how can you have taste this bad
I get the impression most people that hate the later two are people that didn't play it at the time of release. Makes me wonder if I've nostalgia goggles on for 2 and 3, especially since I was the perfect age for those games and appreciated the shift to a darker tone as an edgy teen.
One day I'll get around to replaying them
can the later games be treated as standalone experiences? Or do you need to have played 1 to understand 2, 2 to understand 3 etc?

3>1>ACiT>2>ToD> Nexus> R&C Remake > Deadlocked(Gladiator for EU fags) >FFA >SAC> Size matters > actual festering maggot entrusted feces > A4O

You can start from 2 story wise

>All wrong
>Shows no argument as to why
Fuck off
2>3>1
1 was great as a kid, but it's braindead easy as an adult. Not even a challenge to 100%.
>>387692658
1 kinda leads directly into 2 but nothing that happened in 1 really has anything to do with the rest of the series, unless you want to see how daxter got transformed. 3 should be played after 2 though.

Jak & Daxter > Daxter > power gap > Jak II > Jak 3 > shit > Lost Frontier
>>387692525
I started the trilogy for the first time earlier this year. I loved Jak and Daxter I even got 100%. Jak 2 wasn't bad but I didn't bother getting 100% too many parts were way too frustrating. Currently playing through 3 and I enjoy it much more than 2 I'll probably 100% it.
>>387692682
basically this, but Gladiator and ToD need to go before 2 and Size Matters before FFA
2 is the best RC and you all have shit taste
>>387691731
You forgot Crash and Spyro
>>387692923
I preferred 2 to those. Although I could see why you'd prefer them. Honestly everything I listed until Deadlocked I loved for the most part. Also I agree SAC is the better game but I had a lot of fun with FFA.

I really can't rank the original trilogy. I replay them every year and my favorite always changes. I love them that much. Although I do have the most nostalgia for 2
