Sure he could translate the gameplay to a new IP and call it something else. But he's not stupid, if he goes medieval it'll just be immediately compared to das. And Victorian, to Bloodborne.

As CEO, what he was trying to do is to diverse what FROM can offer in terms of products while not letting the formula get stale. That's basically what is behind it.
I think a Bloodborne 2 may come sooner or later but they won't touch DaS anytime soon. And whatever new IP they're producing, it won't be some copy pasted of these IP's because that defeats the whole point of what he's trying to accomplish as CEO.
