The only thing that's similar is the gun-play, but the level design is amazing, more like Valve than Bungie and that's not a bad thing. The Taken King had some great level design and good platforming sections.

I haven't played Destiny before. I was debating picking up Destiny 1 in the sale last week but I may as well just wait until 2 comes out on PC. I'll be trying the beta next week, and I'm going to decide whether to preorder (or bother with the game at all) based on my experience with it. I play a lot of Warframe, and in theory it'll be somewhat similar, right?

Mind you tht I got the complete collection and I have played it through 2 months ago so I wasn't playing it at launch, which wasn't as good.
