I still have enough fun to keep playing it, but I am in the same boat of wondering why they made stupid decisions. How they went from Splatoon 1 to 2 without adding the ability to reconnect to matches and doing an overhaul on how playing with friends work makes me wonder what they were working on. Not to mention worse tick rate and the nintendo app is complete garbage.

Is the Splattershot Jr. supposed to be this good, that I can take it with me when I'm in my 20s in level? I'll range from 800p-1200p every Turf War round and I've hovered around 15.0 on the weapon's freshness meter. I just win all the time with this thing.

A couple Ink Saver mains, Special Charge Ups, and Swim Speed Ups, and I just fly around and cover everything. Maybe it also helps that I can make up with the shitty accuracy with gyro aiming.

I don't like gameplay, I don't like the color vomit ink, I don't like the drab urban environments, I don't like the punk music and hipster fashion, I don't like bizarre squeaky voices, I don't like the pedophilic vibe.

This has to be one of the most unexpected successes in gaming. I feel like the world is playing a joke on me and Splatoon is the punchline

Except you can scrub your gear with money, which lets you reroll the slots manually through normal level-up and supplement it with drinks to actually influence what the rolls will be. The money option takes a bit more work but you have more control over it.

I hate the map rotation. They should just make all maps available and do a popular vote similar to what is done in Mario Kart 8. Plus they should just make Salmon Run available at all times.

It is dumb that you can't make parties, and with weapon changing, I'd go even further and say they should allow changing weapons between matches, and make it an option to quickly change weapons between being splatted and re-spawining. Also agreed that rerolling with the super sea snails is bullshit.

Never used the voice chat and refuse to do so until Nintendo gives in and puts an update where the Switch/Splatoon 2 voice chat can be done through the console. I also really wanted a split screen local multiplayer mode on this too.
