ITT: Great games ruined right at the end
What JFG's problem at the end?
>>387658635
You can go through the entire game but you have to get all the tribals to fight the final boss. I know what OP means, it's bullshit.
>>387658635
100% the game to be able to fight the final boss.
>>387658815
Remind me of DonkeyKong 64.
>>387657695
Rage
well you never really got to the end.
>>387658982
DK64 doesn't require 100% to beat the game.

Oh... that piety bullshit
>>387659082
That game ended before it even started. I was getting really into it, too

How's this game hold up with emulation, by the way? is it decent ?
The game is great, but the final boss and ending only exist as a detriment to the final product.

The controls are just absolute dog shit. I cant figure out how to enjoy this game again with the controls this bad.

>he just stands there in the middle of the field
The game is great but what a fuckin letdown that final boss was.
>>387658635
In each level of the game there were these friendly ewok type race called Tribals you had to save throughout the game this just seems to be optional but at the end right before you're to face the final boss the you're told you have to go back and save every single tribal you've likely been ignoring up to this point to progress. What makes it such bullshit is that tribals were also killable by enemies and often put near hazards like exploding barrels so they'd die if you didn't get them in time, so if if this were to happen the only way to get them to respawn was to start the entire level over from the beginning.

I 100%'d it on project64. Aiming with keyboard was a challenge, but you get used to it

Flawless with pj64 2.0
You can even alter some settings to make the game run at constant 30 fps instead of dropping to 15 during fights.

Primal Beast Ganon felt like a "victory lap" and the real final boss was Calamity Ganon
All these little bitches. Tribal hunt was cool.
