The anime movie coming up. Looks surprisingly similar to the 2014 one and the carvings at the end of Kong Skull Island.

Looks fine to me. Plot is suppose to be that humans abandoned Earth because of Godzilla and other monsters overtaking it for about 100 years. Kinda fits the bill.
