Should games give you in-game rewards for completing achievements?

Yes, as long as the achievements are completable forever. Seasonal shit or online rewards should be cosmetic only.

Depends, if its the type of game that gives you an achievent for booting up the fucking game, no.

If its a game where achievements are actual challenges, sure

If you're going to be getting a reward for shit like "kill enemy" or "clear dungeon" then you for sure should be getting a reward for something like "complete the map of the entire game" or "kill all the faction leaders" which is massively more difficult and time consuming

FtH and FtA were fun achievements until Cataclysm when the community went to shit and decided "let's not defend our faction leaders".

Absolutely not, achievments should be only a "congrats you did it" message, not something that should interfere with your gameplay and make you achiev whore.

World of Warcraft has the best achievements system of any game. And they really serve a game like that well.

Just giving you a message and not being tied into gameplay at all is beyond retarded and pointless. If it's not an ingame system achievements are pretty worthless.
