I've been playing battlefield and the amount of people saying "team sux" in chat every fucking match is insane. It's 32 strangers w/ no communication vs 32 strangers w/ no communication, it's a total fucking dice roll to see who wins. One guy said "1v32" once and I laughed. I guess if the other 31 people weren't holding him down he would've won.

Also the hackusations. There are some hackers in the game, yeah, but people are going "hm yeah I think there are at least 3" from time to time to justify their shitty play. One time I was in a mortar heavy tank on Suez and went 45+ and no deaths, since no one on their team thought to get their shit together and just dedicate a minute or two to assault class to kill me. I wasn't hiding either, I was dipping in and out with the two guys in the side. Some dude cried about it and reported me without thinking about how I was in a fucking tank the whole time. Nothing happened of course, but the game is full of whining children. Makes me mad.

I can't stand when games reference their own gameplay loop. That is, I don't appreciate when a loot-based game has a character say something like "now let's get out there and get a ton of loot!"

I don't like how it undermines the setting and tone of the game. For example, Destiny is a game about the last vestiges of the human race, pushed to the edge of extinction, trying desperately to revive their dead god. At no point in that story should I hear "I bet there's some sweet gear on that ship" like that's the reason the adventure is happening, rather than the whole "saving humanity" thing.

I guess developers think it's ironic or something, but to me, it's only ever clumsy and annoying.
