The Switch is a portable console, and I'm judging it as such. Analysts have time and again talked about the dying portable market thanks to the influx of mobiles and tablets. Cry about it all you want, but it's your word, vs. the word of experts. You argued that the Switch deserves a boost, thanks to the "hybrid" factor in marketing, and I told you how big that boost would be.

Argue with me all you like, but unless you can provide proof that the kids who would have bought portables in previous gens are gonna put down their Minecraft/YouTube tablet for a Switch, you're wasting your time.

The Switch will do phenomenal in Japan, as it's the right market for this device. But it's on very shaky ground in the west, appealing mostly to Nintendo fans.

I'm sorry, but it's impossible for the Switch to outsell the 3DS, all data and evidence stands against that.

Beating the WiiU isn't an accomplishment for a portable console.
