try it, i recomend it fully so far, there is a bunch of flashy extra stuff you dont need but show you how to use, but you can just finish everything just using Y

The capsule machines were originally released as free DLC over time on the original PSP release, so if I recall you can get really good stuff from it early.

I love the series, I wish the sequel had been localized so I could get my friends to play it. It loses some polish but the mechanics are improved a lot.

I dropped it after getting to the higher ranking battles. That shit is some severe bullshit.

Also it didn't feel like there was any point to using anything lighter than a brawler frame since you would just get gunned down too fast.

The game gets really grindy in later chapters, and triggering battles and whatnot was very slow. I really wanted to like itm being a LEVEL5 title and all, but I just couldn't finish it.

Not that guy, but grinding for levels is completely unnecessary until maybe postgame, and then it's more important to grind parts with weapon affinities and it isn't humanly possibly to catch up in levels anyway.
