Male (not shota) medic has my favorite design out of all the characters and he's the most useful party member in terms of utility. Also He's a 10/10 stud.

Basch. I made him a knight and he's got 3000 something HP while everybody else is 2000ish. I've started to use Penelo (archer) because I'm running into a lot of flying enemies.

How does EO4 stack up to the rest of the series? I bought it when it came out but wasn't actually in the mood for a dungeon crawler at the time and eventually deleted it to make room. But I was thinking of getting back into it.

If you have EO4 you should play its a fun time and coming up with strateges to kill bosses is the most rewarding feeling ever i cant tell you how it stacks up with the other EO games cause EO4 the only one ive played but i can tell you EO4 really good.

It's an excellent entrypoint into the series, but it's on the easy side compared to the other Etrian Odysseys. It's still very fun though.
