All drama/news aside, I never really found that channel to be all that funny. It was one of those incredibly solid "meh" video game channels that bordered on not great. I never really made time to watch their videos, same with the eanut butter gamer and the other normal boots guys, and when I did I never finished the video I'd get bored and alt tab or do something else.

Jirad's other channel he basically says he's at the office from 9AM to 1 or 2AM, which I believe, but I find it hard to actually comprehend. He's either exagerating, actually works that hard, or works needlessly hard because he's bad at it. He has employees, so I don't know what the fuck they do, but I can assure you that it'd not hard to edit a 20 minute video, you can do it in a day if you have all the right shit.

I imagine Jirad is a massive micromanager, which probably put Greg off. Greg and Jirad's disputes were obviously related to money. Jirad also proved he had no stones during the initial falling out, so I'm not surprised that Greg is going for a lowblow now.

Ultimately, it will be better for the channel to wipe Greg from it.

The problem is his videos aren't good. He's a bad critic for one. Rarely does he actually make use of his "100% completion" in a meaningful way. Half the time his videos are just awful, and his "scripts" aren't good. He frequently comes off as whiny, rather then being critical. He covers boring games. His schtick is really boring, and the sticks and jokes are dumb.

Yo so I used to work for jirard. And I can safely say Greg is an asshole. Dude never showed up to work. And whenever he was scheduled for a sketch or something he just might not show up at all or call last minute to cancel. My job was to capture footage for other channels. When jirard first moved into an office i.e. their first office, he used to capture footage of other channels to use, gotta pay them bills somehow. Greg was rarely there and just did not care. He'd essentially show up for food and maybe 1 day out of the week to "work". I wasn't there for the fallout but things were strained already. Also on a side note Smosh are a bunch of fucking assholes. We captured footage for them and we never got paid for it. For months after the work had been done not once did a paycheck come through. I keep in touch with some of the people working there and occasionally ask them if they ever got paid. Answer is no. So fuck Smosh and fuck every little bastard who likes them.
