You think you've spent a lot of time on a game? There are countless people that play Dota 2 that have played it for more than 8000 hours. Some even go above 20 000 hours.

I've been burnt out on video games for a while now.

However PUBG is still fun, it's one of those high skill high rng I always compare it to poker. Except I honestly think you guys really overestimate how much luck factors in the game and underestimate how you can influence your chances, that part to me is interesting.

As for the streamer thing, yes it's obviously catering to the streamer folks but it's that philosophy which made the game huge in the first place. Whoever behind the marketing on PUBG deserves like a legit award he's outdone like triple a marketing.

Paid beta is actually the only point thats really shit about this game.

I bought a copy of the game for me and my friend yesterday. We have 5 hours played so far. What keeps us playing is that you feel like you improve every game. And no match feels the same. It's pure adrenaline when you meet someone else and every game takes like 30 minutes if you get to the top. And you can find a new match pretty much instantly. I just hope they add the vault and climb mechanics soon, that shit is seriously needed...
