Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice or Prey (2017):
Looking for a fun single-player game, these two have grabbed my attention.
For those who have played either or both, which did you enjoy more?
I pirated both and enjoyed both thoroughly.

I played Prey and I strongly recommend it

Prey is an actual game with gameplay.
Hellblade is more of a movie.
Pirate both.
Prey is like 30hr+ of gameplay. So, Prey.
>>387588116
If you're a Dishonored fan you'll love Prey, I haven't played the other one.
>>387588116
Prey is great and an actual game.
>>387588116
Pray because it's an actual game.

Prey is one of the best games of the last decade and is 30+ hours long. Like all good Immersive Sims it'll likely become a cult classic.
Hellblade is a very repetitive walking sim with puzzles and combat sequences and it's like 8h. Good atmosphere, graphics and audio. It's not a bad game but against Prey the choice is obvious.
Pirate both. Prey especially is not worth purchasing unless you know for sure you'll like it.

Prey was surprisingly good. Felt a lot like System Shock.

>Prey on sale
>Several threads over several days with one line replies like: The best game Ive played this year, It's good get it.
>Get reprimanded for suggesting pirating to see if the individual in question would enjoy said game
Fuck off.
>>387589673
>Not realizing you can refund a game on steam for any reason if you've played it for 2 hours or less
>>387589870
>Prey has a long introduction that does not resemple the rest of the game except in theme.
>Thinking anyone can be informed about their purchase after 2 hours in a game with, and I quote: "Prey is like 30hr+ of gameplay.".
>Not advising people to be as informed as possible about what they choose to spend their money on, especially in regards to a game with polarizing opinions.
Pirate, see if you like it, and buy it if you do. Also fuck off.
