I personally put 300 hours into EO2U and I view it as the most meaty and enjoyable, but 4 holds a special charm to it and the postgame stratum is wonderful beyond words, I could spend so much time in there alone that it elevates the game up to me. Best atmosphere.

imo right now EOU2 is my favorite with EOIV right around the corner.

Hoping one day they'll bring back Force Boost/Breaks for individual classes again instead of shared gauge stuff. Force Boosts, while making the game a bit broken for some classes, really spiced stuff up for fights and classes.

EO and EOII didn't have much of a story, so we got remakes that have the story that was Untold.

Also the Elder Dragon in eo3 was just kinda there. Story mode potential. Also think of ship travel, mini dungeons, mini towns/hubs/trading with natives

They find ways to break the game anyways. I liked Force Boost and Break as well. It felt like a ridiculous anime powerup, but with how powerful the enemies are it didn't break the game through normal play. Really fixed how Force worked in 2 where you pretty much never used it outside of cheese strategies.
