I love it but after 3 attempts over 12 or so years i've never been able to finish it. Always get lost

I always end up lost getting the Keys to the Temple at the very end of the game. Can never figure out where one of them is. It's the exact same as the Artifact hunt, too; I don't know why I have so much more trouble with it.

I refuse to use a guide. One day, I will beat it.

The voice acting, story, and music alone is 10/10. The no loading screens and 3D world shifting mechanics were also pretty amazing.

It's kinda hard to play without getting mad though. I remember following it before it came out and seeing all the stuff that was cut. What a fucking shame. It could have been legendary.

hrmmmm......... That's a good question. I don't want to say halo 3 was a 10/10 but on the other hand, you got a lot of amazing features for you $60 dollars. I loved this game, I loved everything about it, wish I was playing it now. Maybe it was that good and the idea is still too hard to comprehend right now.

This a million times over. I believe that this was the pinnacle of the series. Halo 3 had arguably the best multiplayer in the series. The graphics were amazing and the story was fantastic. Bungie really gave it there all with this. Also ODST

I just got Prime trilogy a few weeks ago. I finished Prime 1 and loved every second of it. I got a few hours into Prime 2 and I'm just bored to tears. Something about the game is rubbing me the wrong way but I can't put my finger on it.

It's the industrialized portions of the game. Metroid prime had a lot more nature, gave a better feeling of isolation the player grows used to and it makes it harder to connect with Echoes environment.

i hope you wont be disappointed anon. make sure you get the jaguar ring in the early game on the top right of the screen with the whirlpools in the first sandy area. you have to get sucked into the whirlpool right outside the fence or gate or whatever it is. without it i don't think you can ever run in the game but i got it my first play through and don't know what happens if you don't get it.

Really enjoyable once you get in the flow of things. I like how some mechanics have multiple uses (gunboots are used to slow descent and deal with enemies, for example)

That's what I love so much about it. In Prime 1 there's this sense of wonder stemming from being on a planet previously inhabited by Chozo, and as a result I never truly felt like I was alone.
Prime 2, on the other hand, was an utterly hostile, alien planet literally on the brink of annihilation and your only ally was literally minutes away from being killed when you arrived. Samus doesn't have the same kind of connection to the Luminoth as she does to the Chozo, so despite the sizeable Luminoth presence (despite them being holograms), I felt that I was truly alone in Echoes.
