Not the perfect game no, but as many fronts that Kingdom Hearts fails on, gameplay is not one of them. I don't have many reasons to believe it would be bad since the characters and world stayed in tact, and Nomura is capable of directing good combat systems.

Why didn't they let you make multiple weapon sets and let you switch between them on the fly? I hated having to pause and navigate to the fucking gear menu to craft magic or equip new weapons. You should have been able to use every type of weapon on the fly, like guns and daggers. Wouldve helped imo.

I don't understand why they had to make the magic system so you would have to farm incredibly rare items and gather up the elements again every time you made magic, and even with the 999 AP upgrade it's only like 7 casts for some magic. Yeah, they're really powerful but in over 100 hours I've used maybe one Fira spell due to the hassle.

The biggest problem with the game, I don't mind it that much but it's a thing. Also they should have explained better how wild life monsters and deamons are different things.
