I love Dark Souls 3 but I don't think it's worth it on 30 FPS if you're only going for the singleplayer. I'd buy SotFS.

Yeah, try them both for sure. You can probably pick up Scholar of the First Sin for cheap, I got it at Gamestop for like 18 bucks. There's just more meat to it, DS3 is great but it's very straightforward and very linear. DS2 has a lot more mystery and a lot more things to find. Plus, like someone else mentioned, it runs a lot better.
