ARMS still looks and plays like hot shit. Nothing memorable about it, other than being a worse version of Wii Boxing.

I can't really pin down why this isn't as fun as just playing smash for glory over and over again, but it isn't. Maybe it's because there's really only 3 or 4 "moves" you can do. Sure switching arms and characters switches things up but it just feels samey.

There's just not as much variety as Smash. I find it fun to play ranked in short bursts but like you said its just not something I can play for a long time like Smash or Splatoon

I love the game but I hate it terrible character balance.
heavies like Mummy are simply way too undepowered when you reach rank 16-17. Its insane.
the hitbox alone is a great problem, add the slow, shit dodge, etc.

I have high hopes for the new character and ARMS tho.
the one they leaked on twitter looks like a shield which can counterttack when hit.
