I don't understand why people complain about the different/less features in a sequel. If you prefer the original game, you can always keep playing that. Or, if you want, you can try the new game and even if it's not 100% like the old game, you can consider it a new experience. The new game isn't replacing the old game, it's not going anywhere. Just play both or stick to the original.
