I don't know if they're easy to make but PUBG seems to sort of the peak of battle royale right now. Nice graphics, updates with a first person mode. I don't know if there's much else you can do with the genre. Maybe more vehicles?

The graphics are subpar on its own but even then the optimization and performance is so abysmal that the average player and non-streamer is likely playing on low anyways.
Having sank 20 hours into the game, it's clunky, unpolished, and usually fairly boring.

I recently got back into it, having a really fun time. The performance has improved a lot but still has a long way to go. Given their rate of progress so far, I'd say I like how things are going. And I'm glad they added the crate trading too, making a few dollars here and there is always nice.

Performance has gotten much, much better with every update, and after a 2 month break or so it seems like the mechanics are more polished as well. It still has a ways to go, but they seem to be making great progress on it so far

Winning for the first time was as intense as an orgasm. I just sat there in pure joy overwhelmed with satisfaction and happiness.

The feeling wears off, sadly. The first 5 wins were pure sex, up to 20 it was still great but nowdays it's only really fun if I win a fun way.

That's how you get good. Analyse why you died and try to change things the next time.

PUBG has very little to do with aiming and normal 'skill' in general. It's more about tactics, knowing the map and placement than anything else

The game has a MMR system in place and will put you in games with people on your skill level and playtime. So don't get flustered about encounters, the other players are probably also pretty new/shit.

Got one of my first wins by just driving the UAZ through the last few circles. Blasted over people sneaking in the grass and won the round with 18 kills, 12 of them roadkills at the very end.
