Problem is they already made everything more detailed, so to get that comic book look is a bit more work now. To fix the looks they are better off properly following through with the direction they have taken, better lighting wold go a long way to help that. Even has helped between E3 trailer and the newer one.
They are at a point where it can look nice, but they lack the time to really fix it all up and after launch i doubt it will be a priority because costumes or new characters will make them more money.
