There are some adjustments you can make to the camera distance in the config file. Not centering but a little farther away makes the game bearable.

That's kinda the point. Though if you edge a lot and have good control, it helps. I have lots of experience erping, so I'm good at not blowing and going and can transfer that fantastic life skill to other things like skyrim.
