I've played FoW and now it's going to the shitter, it was very nice at first but now it got the Yugioh syndrome, where decks become more archetype based because all the new cards only work properly that way, limiting very hard your deck building. I know you're asking about mtg clones but have you played Magic the Gathering:Shandalar? It's only the best videogame card game to ever come out. In fact it's STILL the best despite being made in 1997 in MSDOS.

You can't prove me wrong. no other game has as much detail and themings. You even go around literally tapping lands in the overworld to gain power and making deals with djins and demons for better cards, while delving dungeons to find the power 9 cards hidden in them.

I wish someone would just totally rip off the entirety of infinity wars and make a new game, one that doesn't have a budget made up of pretty rocks and seashells, plus one that could make the fundamental design of the different factions more solid from the start (warpath had a bunch of boring ass vanilla animals, angels pre-champion were basically just about making 50 tokens with flying, untouchable and buffing the shit out of them, sleepers were phased out because they were too fucking dumb to come up with more graveyard mechanics, verore/dragons/exiles combined to make just disgustingly uninteractive decks, flame dawn could have stand to get more midrange threats from the start so not every deck of theirs were automatically aggro)

Pretty damn good game. It takes a lot from MtG and that's for the best. It just got a massive expansion so one of its worst flaws (a small cardpool) as been removed. The game is very F2P friendly, provides a lot of free stuff and the grinding is not that hard. If you have to spend money on something, spend it on Jekk's Bounty (single player expansion with exclusive cards) because that shit is expensive. Random note : once you have reached master in Forge, only spend gold on Draft mode, NEVER EVER buy packs. Sorry for the random dump, overall a great CCG

100 posts and it hasn't been mentioned, it really is unpopular.

i've played pretty much all online CCG/TCGs and pic related is my favourite. very fair rewards for F2P players, online tournaments all the time, a ladder. it also has a fix for magic's land problem and i love it. its downsides is that the devs behind it are some super small team somewhere in eastern yurop, so don't expect good graphics (art on cards is good tho) or a fancy UI/animations. also there is quite the lack of new players i think.

all my impressions are from a few months ago btw, things could be different nowadays but who knows.

So the other player would have to use deathrite on the stack before vials ability activates right? And it's too late to activate deathrite after because vial puts something on the field instead of summoning it effectively skipping the stack.
