They were made to be the most disgusting and despicable race in fantasy.

They constantly backstab everyone including each other and are only held together by a council of jew rats and their hate for every other form of life.
They fuck around with Warpstones and mutate each other so they can sell the best mutations as weapons to other clans.
Their females are giant mindless mountains of lactating breasts that only serve to pop out hundreds of skavens every day.
Their general style of warfare is throwing a million slaves and cultists at an enemy then murdering everyone including their own troops with poison gas that makes you choke on your own vomit, warpflame that mutates their victim while burning them or crush everything on the battle field under a big Hamster Wheel or Hellpit Abomination.
If you have a favourite character that is not aligned with chaos there is a good chance that he will get anticlimactically murdered in his sleep by some no name rat assassins or mutated into an abomination with no chance of fighting back.

They have secretely built an Empire underneath 80% of the world and if they so chose to they could just pop out of the ground of your favourite faction's capital and genocide it in one night.

The world was getting drowned in Rats while Chaos invaded from the north. A bunch of nurgle followers attacked Altdorf and I think Franz got murdered by an Unclean one, not so sure about that anymore.

I could never get into the great sword, on either Kruber or Saltzpyre.
I use the Machete + healing Crossbow set up , but as soon as I get my hands on the red rapier thats it for life.

You can. They just take 80% less damage. On hardest mode they take 60% less damage. Skaven are planned to have huge hordes with each unit, coupled that with the dark elves Rampage ability which gives them buffs when enough units have been killed and it's seems perfectly fine to counter Skaven.

If you look closely, the Skaven hit their own allies in the trailer so maybe Skaven will take an increased % damage to their own? It isn't out of the possibility at least.

I would hope so, that's like their biggest thing, that they literally live under people's feet. I don't think they have their own unique method of travel, they have the same "Underway" like path the Dwarves and others have I think I saw but that's not the same as literally living and moving totally underground. If they don't have that, it'd be a shame if they didn't also settle beneath people.

Ironically, by not dealing with the Skaven, they deal with themselves because by thinking nobody knows about them that they're free to plot against and kill each other for power since nobody will organize an army to come for them. This is also great for the Empire who wouldn't have the manpower to fight an all out war against the Skaven with the already giant amounts of bullshit they have to deal with.

The only hope in that plan is that if the Skaven DO organize somehow then the End Times happens.

I'm just waiting for the three games and all DLC to be released, and after that I'll wait for it to get cracked.
