I liked Ep2, although it was on rails for the most part and almost entirely devoid of challenge.
I don't get how Ep2 would score so much lower than Ep1, considering the mess that is the latter. I like Mad Gear, but that's it.

I was so starved for 2D Sonic I played through episode 1 like three times. Managed to get it all out of my system before episode 2 though, so I never played that. Music was okay.

Episode 2 was okay. Both games lacked any sort of real charm or appeal. They were the NSMB of Sonic.
