Being invisible you could tail a suspected criminal for days or weeks. Sure, being bumped into or accidentally making a sound is always a risk. But if no one knows you have invisibility powers, why would think there's an invisible man in their room? When you hear a noise in your house is your first assumption an invisible man? Nobody would think superpowers are real.
