I always hated Zelda games, but botw is the only one I find kinda fun and not cringe inducing. If you like skyrim like open worlds where you can just fuck around, it's great.

I played anarchy online for over 10 years, and age of conan for like 7, not consistently when it got into the later years, but there was far more to explore and better world design or matched in age of conan alone, fuck even wow still has players, and I thought that was the newbiest of the newbiest shit when I played it

it's pretty much wow, with less quests, no hints from ! and you have to explore a bit and read, and polished graphics and less shit to do.

It looks superior on the Switch. The Wii U has reduced draw distance, a smaller color pallet, no anti aliasing and reduced lighting effects/sources. Switch has ambient occlusion, AA, higher res, better draw distance, more particle effects, etc.
