If I tell ever fucking becomes available for purchase again, Cubeworld let's you play as either a Skeleton knight,rogue,archer or as close as an actual lich with being able to cast fire and water magic as a Mage.

Overlord is overrated as hell.

The anime is dull and the light novel (like all light novels) is highschool tier writing garbage. It's only defending by slavering waifu-fags who argue over which shallow female character devoid of anything but a grabbag of 'quirky' traits they like the most.

The only redeeming factor is the anime's soundtrack which kicks ass

Aside from the protagonist being a Lich and "bad guy" it plays out like any other Isekai story. People who like stuff like this pretty much go in knowing what to expect already.
