I played for hours straight, there's never a point where I feel like getting off.

On the other hand that game is always done in binges from me. A game that I do play in short bursts is Bloodborne. It's one of most favourite games, but there are skill walls that I do feel discouraged about, as I'm not really good at the game.

Bloodborne is my pick as well. It wasn't about a skill wall, I killed many bosses on my first attempt and several others in two, but the dread atmosphere was crushing unlike any Souls game. I'd get to a new lantern or kill a boss and be too drained to continue despite how much I loved the game.
