I'm honestly enjoying it. I bought it on release, and quit around lvl 19. Tried it again last winter. Quit again. Now, playing with 40+ mods, and it's a lot of fun. The thing with every TES since Morrowind and the Bethesda FO games is that they're much more fun with mods. Best to wait a couple of years after release, imo.

I like all the Amorsmith related mods, wearable/craftable backpacks, camping. For graphics, Vivid Fallout, Flaconoil's textures, and true grass. Def UI + Cleanhud 2 for the user interface. There's a lot to choose from.

Fallout 4 is pretty good but even with all the DLC it left me kind of cold, I want a new Fallout game and it's going to take another 5 years minimum.

I've been desperately playing through New Vegas with total conversion mods but it's not the same as a new game.

The game has an ocean of stuff to fuck around in. Each one however, is as shallow as a puddle. Personally, even if I look at this as a non fallout game, that might bump it up to a slightly below average game. Average at absolute best. Here in my settlement. Just bought this new T51-b power armor here. Fun to wear around in the commonwealth. But you know what I like more than armor? Bobbleheads. In fact, I'm a lot more proud of this bobblehead stand I installed to hold these two new bobbleheads I found. It wasn't that long ago that I was in a little neighborhood across the state, sleeping on a cot with only 47 caps in my pocket. But you know what? Something happened that changed my life. I bumped into a settler, and then another settler, and a few more settlers. I bumped into 5 settlers and they told me what they do to survive in the wasteland. Again it's not just about the armor it's about the good life. Health, caps, bobbleheads, and happiness.
