Is that niggerspeak for "good"? If so, then yes.

The original Nier is better.
Fuck Adam and Eve and their repetitive fights.

>generic animu story with some degree of use of the medium, which is nice but that hardly elevates it to BEST STORY EVER as people claim
>all characters save arguably 9S are shallow
>repetitive combat
>need to play through the game multiple times to "really experience it" (artificial longevity for the first two routes)
>9S' fighting style is annoying, gimmicky, and forced
>unnecessarily tedious to upgrade pods
>tries to be deep by referencing philosophical works to appeal to psuedo intellectuals
Umm, no sweetie, it wasn't. Outside of music and sex appeal.

Nier's normal difficulty setting made the game play without being too hard or too easy and was more or less properly balanced.
Automata's normal difficulty setting is too easy, and higher difficulty settings make you die in 1-2 hits whilst increasing enemy aggression both. While Nier was hardly balanced, it at least had one difficulty setting that worked. Automata didn't have any.
Nier also had very varied and unique boss fights, with a few of them even taking advantage of the surrounding environment and using that level design as part of the boss fight (Wendy, Jack). Automata, while it had great mecha bosses, suffered too many repeated fights against Adam and Eve where they fight in the exact same manner.
