Yes it's so worth it, the gameplay and level design is impeccable.

People praise this game a lot but I feel like they don't nail exactly what makes it so good. It throws us back to games back in the day where one of the most important things wasn't sick visuals or cinematic sequences, but the creativity in the gameplay. How the developers capitalise on the interactivity of games. Every puzzle, secret, and enemy you face will have a multitude of ways you can tackle it. And the cherry on top is that it still has sick visuals and cinematic sequences and all the other superficial shit of modern games.

Honestly this game got me out of my gaming rut. It restored my faith in triple A

Best game this year so far for me honestly. One of the best AAA games in the last decade. Great level design, puzzles and progression only dragged down by boring enemy designs and somewhat tedious combat.

If anything else, best advertisment for recycling ever.

I mean sure, the mimic is a great enemy concept, but I don't see why every other enemy had to be a walking talking amoeba aswell.

Level design is great, almost Metroidvania. Creativity is needed when going past obstacles, believe me, the Huntress Crossbow at first is a toy, but is so useful if you're creative. Combat is alright, probably feels 1000% better on PC (i played it on PS4) Lots of sidequests. Magic shit is fun as hell.
