So Nintendo shut this app down years ago and to be honest it was pretty forgettable, but I kept it fro the sake of having it because it'll be gone forever if I delete it and there would go a part of my 3DS' history. Anyway, I checked the memory in my 3DS and it only takes up a couple of blocks in the Software section, but in the Extra Data section I've found it takes up an absurd amount of data (over 2000 blocks).
Is the extra data just videos? Because they stopped streaming those so they should be gone. Can I delete the extra data without deleting the software?

Most likely.

I think so yeah. If not via the default system management apps, then by using FBI or some other homebrew.
