Aren't the entry level cards still Ooze, Raptor, Yeti and Tazdingo?
I've started playing again with my decks from 2014 and have little trouble in low ranks.

It's fun, but also weird to run into Jade Druids down there.

There's less RNG now in most classes other than maybe Mage. Most common RNG card is the Lich King now, who's basically a better Ysera.

Next set rotation will have even less RNG because we're going to lose all the sets from Gadgetan and Kharazan.

I started Hearthstone recently because my brother kept bugging me about it. I played a lot the first week and got to rank 10 with a pretty bad deck, and I seem to be stuck. Then I did a ton of theorycrafting. However, I have no cards and no dust and I won't be able to make even a proper budget deck for ages. Am I really supposed to keep using the same cards for years? Or should I dust absolutely everything and make a singular budget deck?

Desolator is a 4 mana drop that is a 3/1 and steals 2 hp on dying anon.

Yes 9 mana is late for an aggro deck, but it just turns into an extra win condition which is always nice to have, there are just few reasons to run lilith which is a shame.

a 3/1 with a 2 damage battlecry is shit for aggro though, that's twice the mana and 66% of the damage of flameblood warlock, playing aggro shouldn't concern yourself with your own health as you plan on your opponent taking even more
like for 4 mana you could get a dioltas or primus or sunsteel or something else that gives you a much more immediate tempo boost
