not quite "never ever" yet, but it´s getting there
Are they working on it full time?
I was under the impression it's a few guys working on it in between other jobs.

Back in March they said it was technically done but they weren't happy with it so they were going to take a few more months to improve it.

>they weren't happy with it so they were going to take a few more months to improve it.
In human language that translates to "it's never coming out".
It's interesting that they've never reached out to Kikestarter or something like that for handouts. Gotta respect that

Maybe. If I remember correctly though they were specific about what they weren't happy about. It wasn't "The game isn't ready for release yet", it was "We don't think X path is as strong as Y path so were going over it again."
I was really looking forward to this when i found it. But like everything we were promised its just gone like a fart in the breeze.
Looking forward to playing it in VR but now that motion controllers at a standard, I'm conflicted.
If they took the time to add support, it would make interaction with the scanner/gun way better. You'd have to physically aim it and maybe mess with buttons on the model to switch modes or reload. Also hoister it to interact with the environment by hand.
Only problem is locomotion. Teleporting and other methods wouldn't work and using regular controls would be a problem when running, should the player wish to play standing.

Or release it on Early Access. Though I wouldn't have mind that because it means actual players test the game instead of pretend-retard QA or focus groups.

Looks and sounds great
Shame it won't be anywhere near that quality on release. Games never are.
