Wasn't it some moonland hyper autist who diligently supported his waifu for like 10 years and eventually it went in a circle from pathetic to actually becoming downright impressive and other artists started adding a few of their own images in support, and eventually it became a meme? That's my vague recollection but it might be wrong. But yeah it's crazy how much stuff there is of her. SD3 was an excellent game sure but not that genre defining, and Riesz is hot and a somewhat different take on the design but not THAT different. Right thing at the right time I guess.

I don't have babby hands, and so my 3DS hasn't been used in months. If and when I get my hands on a 2DSXL, I'll try to mod it and get some mileage out of it.
