Atmosphere is no longer visually and audibly messy and gritty which could be blamed on being a product of its time but was part of the feel of KF1 that I enjoyed. Now it just feels like a lot of really clean environments that just have a little wreckage that only really get dirty when you splatter blood all over them, it doesn't really give off the same world is fucked kind of feel as the first game. The weapons for most of the classes don't feel as interesting to me and feel like they lack some sort of weight that I remember from the first game.

I uninstalled this game after about 80 hours. It was a good time and I liked the game but the level grinding from level 4 and beyond are a huge pain in the ass. It doesnt help servers keep cycling the same maps over again when I want to play them all on the different difficulties. I'll probably reinstall around halloween or something when I get in the mood for a monster/zombie killing game.

Also are 2 patriarchs on the lab mission really necessary?

Try not to think of this game as a levelling game too much. Starting level 4 your stats are very decent, you should just enjoy mindlessly killing zeds and really appreciate the time when you level up, because the bonuses are small but noticeable once you are used to playing that class.

It's not an MMO where there is a endgame. When you reach level 6 there is nothing to look forward to anymore. You just have to play.

The thing is fire afterburn causes fleshpounds and scrakes to stagger. Fleshpounds are even more resistant than Husks are to fire afterburn damage and won't ever rage on it alone. While they can't stagger during rage when they stagger during their normal state it resets their rage build and prevents them from building until they stop staggering. Scrakes won't rage until they're done staggering and even stagger while enraged.
