Prime Equipment is stupidly easy to get. It at most takes three days to get ALL of the gear required - and if you don't get the drop that you want? Melt down your prime shit into ducats that you can use to purchase cool shit from Baro.

My experience with Warframe was fucking garbage. I'm not arguing one way or another for if primes make sense in universe, that wasn't me. The story presented and what I played was uninteresting and shit. Much like Destiny to be quite honest, poorly told to the player and uninvolving for your character.

I can recall grinding for hours to get prime pieces, and then having to wait hours to fucking create them. I remember pisspoor level design and dipshit enemies either absorbing bullets like monsters or crumbling like wet fucking paper. I remember absolutely disgusting looking frames and fiddling with useless ability modifiers over and over again as I got new ones and noticing next to fucking nothing change.

I'm excited for it. Why? Because it's basically looking to replace CoD with it's yearly release model, only allowing itself to increment with expansions as opposed to a proper full new game every year, they basically charge the same pricee for expacks as if it'd been a new game, but it keeps the entire playerbase on one constant. That was a huge part of why I loved the first game. I had NONE of the DLC up through rise of iron, but eventually caved in an bought all the expansions for like $40. Totally worth it, especially considering how much playtime I got out of it in this last year. If destiny 2 can give me even 100 hours for the $60 i'm spending, I'll be super pleased.

I bought the Destiny PS4 bundle and spent maybe an hour playing the game. It's literally a Chad MMO. Not even a normalfag MMO which is basically what WoW is. It's an MMO for people who think WoW is too complicated. All the D2 trailers so far have been corny as fuck, too.

I only played a very very early beta where pretty much all the shit looked the same but even still it was a boring and grindy piece of shit game that for as much content was actually pumped into it the core of the gameplay loop has seemingly stayed the same from what I've gathered from bits and pieces I've seen over the years, I remember you had to repeat shit over and over again for days or even weeks to get materials to even build a new warframe and at the time I remember wanting ember because I liked the design for some reason, after finally crafting it and waiting for the stupid real time timer to finish I played like a few minutes with it tops and it fucking sucked, it was a garbage class or whatever, all that time spent for fuck all really, so yeah this game is a piece of shit but just like a lot of other grindy shitty ass mmos or pseudo online / co op garbage it has a stockholm syndrome level fanbase that praises and defends everything the fucking devs do and chastise, isolate and ignore any criticism leveled at the game

Destiny is a "FUCK YOU I LIKED IT" game for me.

It has a lot of problems, a fucking TON of problems, but god damn it was a good time sink. The gunplay is a lot of fun, the raids and missions were fun with friends, and the world itself is really cool.

It's a shame that Dinklage got fucked over, the story got butchered, and multiplayer was ruined. I sincerely hope having it on PC fixes most issues (dedicated servers, potential for custom games). But knowing Activision, I doubt it.

The problem with shilling warframe is most of us have already played it, it's no different today than it was years ago.

I quit 2 years ago, recently went back and it's exactly the fucking same, but with new shitty (((prime))) frames to collect.

The new open world area will end up like fucking raids or archwing, they won't properly incentivize people to do it and so people will keep doing the rat maze shit and they will stop developing "open world" areas.

Honestly, I wanted Destiny to be legitimately good. It didn't even have to be absolutely fantastic, just good.

A good amount of customization, balanced weapons for PvP in normal TDM/CTF/KOTH modes in a 4v4 or 5v5 format with slow enough TTK and enough mobility options for 1v1 battles to be actually engaging; varied loot/skinner's box bullshit with different rarities up to "fuck you" drop rates, challenging enough PvE content that's easily accessible in a drop-in/drop-out format and fun missions with replayability in mind and enough enemy variety to not get boring after a few weeks is all it needed to be good.

I really wanted my dumb PSOxHalo dreamgame to work, I need some dumb actiony timesink that's not just an awful MMO with boring combat based around skill rotations and avoiding some red area on the map, but they just had to fuck it up.

Was it really that hard to get right? It legitimately hurts. Why couldn't they just do it well? They had to fuck up with some stupidly baffling design decisions, including a pseudo-tryhard PvP that's bound to be a fucking hellhole by format and the game's issues carried over from the first fucking game.

I'm being honest when I say Destiny 1 felt more fun than 2's beta content, and even the core gameplay, and that's just...really fucking sad.
