So do the enemies get tougher after you spend more points on your stances or something?
Because I completed a mission and then spent a bunch on three new skills, and now for the first time I'm having to use heals (sometimes multiple) against Delinquents and such.
At one point they were hitting me so much I was just stuck in a corner getting gangbanged. How do I into Yakuza 0 combat? Playing on hard btw.
Also general Yakuza thread.

They get stronger as you progress yes.
But don't worry just get legend style and steamroll everything

I mean should I be getting my ass kicked so hard in groups even with upgraded Bralwer and Fast?
Cause I feel like some of the enemies are getting so fast I have no choice but to run by, get a hit in, and dodge or run immediately

Not really no. Start attacking everyone at the same time instead of focusing on one enemy

Ok maybe thats my problem, been trying to focus on the inevitable straggler

Yeah, enemies scale with you. Don't use your lock on 24/7 when fighting groups of enemies, be sure to evade if you can, and use your block button. Don't be afraid to use heat moves either. Here's a video that does a decent job at brushing up on the combat in Y0.

Don't get cornered? Use Beast for crowd control.
>going full beast in the dojima office
it's so fucking good, destroying the horde of yakuza to get to Kuze was fucking great

How braindead must you be not to know all of this already, even as a beginner? Yakuza's combat is basic as fuck - which makes it so fun.

it's so good

Don't you only get beast after defeating kuze?
