ME1 might've been messy in a lot of ways but at least they were trying to make something great rather than something easily marketable

Andromeda was the final nail in the coffin. It could have been an amazing open ended RPG where you choose your race and specialization and just pit yourself against an unknown frontier.

Instead we got a lukewarm shit of a game with yet another "YUU AHR DA CHOSIN WUN" human protagonist. So very disappointing.

EA has been using its RPG lines to see if it can cash out diversitybucks somehow. They don't really care if another developer burns because they can always fall back on sports for their bread and butter.

Legit just an expanded N7 ops campaign with an upgraded multiplayer would've been fucking amazing. Even if they just restricted player characters to council races or something.

And it's not even like you need fucking talent to do this. Copy paste ME3 assets, write a basic "blast the bad guy or we all die" plot, hire some fucking competent voice actors and you're done.
