If your Vita is activated then yes. If the Vita was wiped any nobody has logged into PSN yet, then you cannot activate it without upgrading to the latest firmware version, which would mean you couldn't use HENkaku anymore. Since you Vita probably isn't activated it means you cannot use PSN or Adrenaline (hacked PSP mode)

At worst the Vita is a massively upgraded PSP if you have Adrenaline installed, since it has 100% PSP compatibility. And the PSP is an awesome handheld on its own. Aside from that the Vita has some awesome games these days.
